Aren’t they cute?

Tiffany and Gary were recently married by my favorite pastor Ray Waters.

After their beautiful beach wedding team Syltastic was there to capture the couple’s first portrait session as a family.

The warm Geogria December sun and the 3 energy packed puppies made for one super fun shoot.

Going by the way these kids look at each other and the way both beam with love and happiness I feel like they have a beautiful marriage ahead of them.

The other weekend I got to hang out with two pretty awesome girls.

The reason for the photo session was the long overdue shoot for Kasey, winner of a previous Syltastic contest.

We got together at Atlanta’s new hot spot Inkaholiks and received a warm welcome.

To top off the awesomeness of the day Miss Cherry Dame provided her amazing talent to give the model a flawless look.

It’s always a pleasure having Cherry beebop her way to one of my photo sessions.

She is by far Atlanta’s most talented make up artist and pinup hair stylist.

There is a lot I could say about Cherry but I think her works speaks for it self.

Well….he has not made it in front of my camera but you can admire his “housing” in mommy Jenna’s belly posing with big sister June.

Before I moved to Atlanta I thought of this place as the rap capital in combination with a southern ”Gone with the Wind”  charm. Over the years Atlanta has proven to be much more shrimp and grits. I would call it the place of great young talent.

The ATL is home to some of the best tattoo artists, photographers and musicians the country has to offer. Now I can add 2 of the funkiest wedding dress designers to my personal hip list.

Erin Heinlein and Nancy Couture are local gals that translate their spunkiness and sass into the most adorable wedding dresses.

The designers met in college while both were pursuing their degrees in Fashion Design and Marketing. After graduation, they continued to gain experience in their chosen field until they decided in late 2010 to collaborate and become business partners. The result has become Knot Couture that gives prospective young brides the opportunity for a couture dress without the couture price.

Having modeled one of the dresses my self I can honestly say that I was impressed by the quality and creativity these girl put into their work.

Why would any bride even think about shopping anywhere else?

1.1.11 was the official launch of Freaking Adorable! Fill in happy dance here [_______].

For the past year I’ve been watching three of my good friends put their hearts and souls into their brain child – baby nursery art. If you are a parent and have shopped around for child friendly wall art you might know why this childless chick is so thrilled about baby merch all of a sudden. The Freaking Adorable products are high quality, non cheesy canvas prints in a variety of colors and sizes that come with educational info cards about each animals for those little rugrats.

When you browse the site you will find a collections of  baby animals from severals continents and the collection is growing daily. My personal favorite, a fluffy baby sheep is still in the making and I cannot wait to see the finished product.  A nice perk about spending your cash here is how FA donates a generous percentage of each sale to local no kill animal shelters.  I am already antsy to tag along  and visit  local organizations that are being considered and hopefully snuggle lots of homeless puppy dogs.

After sitting in on a few business meetings and watching these three bubbly creative minds, I just have this funny feeling that Freaking Adorable will go beyond their expectations. I love when good things happen to good people. Don’t you?

November 6, 2010 the Syltastic team headed down to Savannah for Angie and Travis’ wedding. For once we were guests but of course couldn’t resist to take some behind the scenes shots.
It was a beautiful weekend with bright blue sky and sunshine. Not even the chilly temperature could stop Angie from rocking her beautiful strapless white dress.
